Cheesy Commercial
I was watching my weekly episode of Grey's Anatomy I saw a commercial by Sprint that displayed an eerie message of technology that we had been discussing in class. We often ask the question if we are getting over involved with the technology available to us. This commercials basis of appeal proved that we are. The main message of the commercial was that you could keep yourself occupied anytime, anywhere with the phone they were promoting. They displayed person at work bored, which in my opinion good promotion, but then they displayed 2 people going on a horseback ride together and the man watching tv on the phone saying "I'm horseback riding on a beach and watching tv." They used a few other similar examples but what was troubling from this commercial was that they were taking the pure little things in life and complicating them with technology. It just hints that we're beginning to lose sight of what we should be appreciating in life.
