I have managed to leave myself a good few loose ends to sort out for my graduation and have thus found myself running around to ensure that all is taken care of to make sure I am good to go come May. Stony Brook and I’m guessing all other Institutions of Higher Education certainly like to make it very easy to forget some menial document etc that will result in some complication.
I have made a big effort to get on top of everything and even when this is done it’s still easy to miss the odd deadline or forget something that will cause some drama down the road. So far so good, but I still won’t quite believe I’ve actually managed to graduate and correctly negotiate my way through the sea of admin until I’m given that diploma!
